On April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Upton Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its eighth opportunity in three years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Bring your pills for disposal to the Upton Police Department at 30 School Street. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
On this date the Police Department will also implement a permanent Med Return Kiosk in the lobby of Police Headquarters where residents can dispose of medication 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Med Return unit was purchased by Upton Board of Health.
