On April 15 20014 Nipmuc Regional High School Junior Ateha Bailly performed with the Boston Children’s Chorus during the Boston Marathon Memorial Services.
Ateha Bailly has been singing with the Boston Children’s Chorus since 2007. In a recent interview with Nipmuc Regional High School Principal John Clements Ateha said, “Singing in the Boston Children’s Chorus has given me experiences far beyond music.”
Ateha has performed with the chorus on two international tours traveling to England and Scotland in 2007 and Vietman and Cambodia in 2013. Ateha said during each tour he had the opportunity to stay in the homes of local families and learn about their culture.
“I hope to continue with music well beyond my high school years,” Ateha said in the interview with Mr. Clements.

Ateha also sang with the Boston Children’s Chorus at the Interfaith Memorial Services which were held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston after the Boston Bombings. Below is a video of that performance where you can clearly see Ateha at minute 1:14 in the upper left of the chorus.
