Trinity Scanlon of Upton, MA was recently named to the 2014 MAAC Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Trinity is studying to become a veterinarian at Quinnipiac University and carries a 3.91 while playing Division 1 lacrosse.This summer, in affiliation with Next Step Sports Academy, she will be running a series of lacrosse clinics at Nipmuc Regional High School on Wednesdays evenings from 6-8pm beginning on July 9. This seven week program is designed for high school girls of all skill levels looking to improve their game. They will receive individualized instruction in stick skills and be taught offensive and defensive game strategy. The cost is only $50.
