V Organic Cafe closed their doors on April 26. On the V Organic website Veronica, creator of V Organics, wrote
“My concept was experimental for this area, particularly Upton, for sure.… I recognize that while the concept is pretty awesome, Upton, nor the building we are located in, are the ideal locations in which to expand and grow my long term goals for the business. Over 90% of my audience was from outside of Upton. If I had a dollar for every out of towner who came in asking the question, “What are you doing in UPTON?” I might be millionairess’, okay maybe just able to retire, okay maybe able to take a great vacation, okay maybe just able to buy a really nice dinner! In the past few months, I’ve been approached by a few entities, with some fairly sweet offers to relocate to areas which might better serve and support my endeavors. V Organic Sweet Treats (the baked goods component of V Organics) and V Organic Skin Care will still be available until the Fall when we expect to be relocated. I am so deeply appreciative of all our loyal patrons, and the wonderful women who worked with me. Life is full of adventures, and this has been just another adventure for me. Thank you all for being a part of it. As soon as we’ve settled in, we promise to keep you all posted on our new location.“

It’s not the location that’s the problem if you’re only open from 10-3. Good food, but I won’t be looking for this place in its next location.
Very cool place! Sorry to hear that it’s moving out of town…Like many little shops around Upton, I find they aren’t open when I’m off-work and able to stop in. )=
