What to do around Upton this Weekend

ladyslippersI think we can all safely say spring is here. Kelly’s Farm Stand is open, JJ’s is open, the sun was shining. When I drive by Red Rock I am tempted to grab some homemade local ice cream. According to the Town Moderator David Loeper Lady Slippers are in bloom. The only thing missing is a new photo from John Reed 🙂

I hope all the MOMS out there have wonderful Mother’s Day.

VFW Flea Market – The Upton, George L. Wood Post will hold a Flea Market and Craft Sale this Saturday, May 10th from 8 AM to 2 PM on the Post grounds, Route 140, Upton Mass. There will be new and used items at low prices. There is no scheduled Rain Date. Admission is free.

A Little Common Sense Mother’s Day Side Walk Sale on the Porch – Face Painting, meet the artists, do a little shopping, and enjoy the view from the porch of A Little Common Sense. 10 – 5 p.m   8 North Main Street Upton

Free Yoga Demos at the Karma Cave – A Little Common Sense – 15 minute segments on Upton Common from 1 to 3 p.m. Meet the yoga instructors.

Grafton History Day with a focus on the American Revolution and Grafton’s role in it. The event is from 9-3 on Grafton Common. There will be flowers for sale and a DJ. It looks like people will be wearing historical garb. The Grafton Historical Museum will be open.
