Girls’ softball playoff schedule announced; Upton earns first round bye

The Central Division 2 softball playoff brackets were released Tuesday. The girls’ varsity team, with a 14-4 record, are the third seed earning a first round bye.

They will play either eighth seed sixth seed David Proudy or eleventh seed Notre Dame Acad. (Worcester) on Sunday, June 1 at 1 p.m. at Nipmuc Regional High School High in a quarter-final matchup.
