Animal Control Officer
Completed application and resume must be returned to the Board of Selectmen’s office (Personnel Coordinator) by 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires an Associate’s Degree; completion of animal control certification courses, with 1 – 3 years of experience in animal handling and control or related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Schedule: The position is part-time on call, compensated per incident. Compensation will vary from $17.35 to $20.00 per hour, based on time of incidence.

Firefighter – Paramedic

The minimum qualifications are a High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree preferred), Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic required with three (3) years of experience as a 911 emergency paramedic with consistent patient contacts required; Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fire Academy Recruit Firefighter graduate preferred Graduation from Massachusetts Fire Academy Recruit Firefighter program required within one year of appointment, and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Work Schedule: 14 hour shifts on a rotating schedule Sunday – Friday. Starting Salary: $1,053 – $1,074/week, DOE.
