Upton weather By Meteorologist Jeb Postle
Overview: A cold front will continue to move through the area today, associated with showers and isolated storms. This front will stall off the coast of New England afterward. At the same time, a storm system will move in from the west along the frontal boundary and bring widespread heavy rain to the area. The steadiest and heaviest rain will develop during the morning and continue through early Thursday evening. Some minor flooding is possible.
Things will gradually dry out Thursday night into Friday. An isolated shower or storm is possible late in the day on Friday. A ridge of high pressure will build over the region from the west beginning on Friday. This will aid in a return of dry, sunny, and warmer weather back to the region for the weekend.
