Andy Lacombe of Charter TV3 visits Upton and gets a brief history of the Upton Civilian Conservation Corps Camps from National Park Ranger Chuck Arning and Ellen Arnold of Friends of Upton State Forest. Upton’s CCC Camp is the only existing camp in Massachusetts. In December of 2013 the Massachusetts Historic Commission approved the Upton State Forest Civilian Conservation Corps Resources Historic District for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
