Downed Wire Puts Upton Residents in the Dark

Approximately 850 homes are without power in  Upton due to a downed wire. The power went out at approximately 4:00 p.m. today, July 4. According to the National Grid Power Outage map there is no crew assigned and the condition is being assessed. Upton Police however have reported the power outage about an hour ago and said power was anticipated to be restored in about two hours or 7:45 p.m.
