Upton Fire Department remains on scene investigating a chemical odor and minor spill at the intersection of Main Street and Maple Avenue. The Upton Fire Department has reported it is not hazardous at this time. Mass Hazmat is on scene.
Updated at 9:18 p.m. – Upton Fire Department is reporting tests performed indicate that the chemical spill may have been an industrial degreaser. The situation is NON hazardous and under control.
