Area of high pressure that is brought us beautiful weather this weekend will begin to break down over the region early next week. A storm system will move in from the west beginning late on Tuesday, associated with showers and storms. This threat of showers and storms will continue through Wednesday. Behind this storm system, dryer air will return to the area. Expect a return of sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the 70s for the end of the workweek into the upcoming weekend.
