Potential of rainfall rates of up to 2 inches an hour

The National Weather Service Taunton MA has issued a Flash Flood Watch from 6 AM to 8 PM tomorrow, for a threat of heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms. There will be a potential of rainfall rates up to 2″ per hour in some locales. Be vigilant if you live near creeks for rising water or driving/walking through flooded roadways.
The great news is that the threat of heavy rain should abate by tomorrow afternoon-evening, giving way to a return of sun for Thursday.
