By Meteorologist Jeb Postle

Overview:  A ridge of high pressure, supplying the dry and comfortable weather will continue to build over the region through midweek. As it does so, warmer air will move into area with high temperatures in the 80s. The ridge of high pressure will begin to break down on Wednesday, as an upper level trough will move into the region. A weak cold front will mark the leading edge of this trough and will trigger some showers-storms for late Wednesday. Behind this cold front, things will dry out for Thursday into early Saturday, with mostly sunny skies and cool temperatures in the 70s
