It’s a bunch of fun at a Harlem Wizards Show
The Miscoe Hill Sports Boosters are hosting the Harlem Wizards for a fun family event. An exciting evening game is being planned, bringing together teachers, staff, community members and a few surprise players to face off against the Wizards on Friday, October 24, 201. Tip-off for the MURSD All Stars is set for 6:00pm at Nipmuc High School.
Sports Boosters President Lisa Hilton and event coordinator Jen O’Donovan are collaborating on this family fun event. A special pre-game show and an awesome half time show, along with contests, prizes, food and fun are just some of the highlights.
Sponsorships are going quickly for the Slam Dunk Sponsor, along with the Half Time Half Court Contest and Rebound Sponsors for the game. There will be other prizes, contests and plenty of fun for everyone.
“At the Wizards game, fans see amazing basketball talent combined with hilarious comedy. The athleticism, tricks, fancy teamwork and ball-handling wizardry, plus wild dunks not even seen in NBA games, engages and wows the most avid hoops fans. The comedy is for everybody. The Wizards look to push the envelope on fun, combining pre-planned comedic acts with spontaneous humor that fans of all ages will find laugh-out-loud funny,” according to the team’s website, www.HarlemWizards.com.
