Governor’s Councillor Jen Caissie endorsed David Muradian for State Representative of the Ninth Worcester District, consisting of the towns of Grafton, Northbridge, and Upton. The endorsement is the latest in a growing list of lawmakers, local officials, and public safety personnel to support Mr. Muradian’s vision for the Ninth Worcester District and the Commonwealth.
“Over the last seven years, aside from Representative George Peterson, no one has worked harder to advocate for this district than David Muradian,” said Governor’s Councillor Jen Caissie. “It is abundantly clear that David’s experience will be a key asset to the towns of Grafton, Northbridge and Upton, as he is the only candidate with any form of legislative experience.”
“It means a great deal to me that Governor’s Councillor Jen Caissie has come out and endorsed me,” stated David Muradian. “To hear her tout my experience as the only candidate versed in legislative affairs reinforces the fact that I am the candidate best suited to hit the ground running, continuing great representation for our communities.”
In addition to the endorsement of Jen Caissie, David has also received the backing of Assistant Minority Leader George Peterson, Worcester County Sherriff Lew Evangelidis, every Republican State Representative in Worcester County, Gun Owners’ Action League and the New England Police Benevolent Association, Inc., as well as Northbridge Selectman Dan Nolan and Grafton Selectman Bruce Spinney.
A lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts, Mr. Muradian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Worcester State University. David currently resides with his wife Jessica in Grafton, where he is active in the Republican Town Committee, and a member of the Gun Owner’s Action League. He is also a member of the Knights of Vartan, who proudly advocate for their Armenian heritage.
