Linda A. (Leclaire) DeLang, 66

Linda DeLangLinda A. (Leclaire) DeLang, 66, of Uxbridge, died Mon., Sept. 8, 2014 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of William J. DeLang. Linda was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Arthur and Arline (Closson) Leclaire. She grew up in Upton and was a graduate of Nipmuc Regional High School and Pondville School of Nursing. She then lived in Northbridge before moving to Uxbridge in 1976. She was an LPN who worked at Milford Hospital, the Evergreen Center, and then for the Uxbridge Public Schools at Taft Elementary School and the Good Shepherd Early Learning Center, retiring two years ago. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Uxbridge and enjoyed vacationing in Port Clyde, ME and on Cape Cod. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she leaves three sons, Scott DeLang and his wife Kristen of Millbury, Steven DeLang and his fiancee Amy Dyer of Whitinsville, and MSgt. Shawn DeLang of Vacaville, CA, serving with the US Air Force at Travis AFB. She also leaves her granddaughter, Kaileigh DeLang of Whitins-ville; a brother, Eugene Leclaire and his wife Donna of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Donna DeLang and her husband Kenneth of Whitinsville, and Pamela Stockwell and her husband Thomas of Uxbridge; a sister-in-law, Nancy Leclaire of Upton; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Arthur “Bud” Leclaire, Jr. Funeral services will be held Sat., Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, 130 Douglas St., Uxbridge. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton. Calling hours at the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton are Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a cancer research charity of ones choice. www.uptonfunerals.com
