The Friends of the Upton Town Library invite you to attend a special recruitment meeting right before storytime from 9:30 to 10:30 on Thursday, September 18th at the Upton Town Library.
The Friends of the Library fundraise, support programs, run the museum pass program, and advocate for Town meeting votes to support the library.
They are always looking for new members. Residents of Upton that would like to get active in the community and help support the library are encouraged to attend.
Now is an especially exciting time for the Friends, because the library is starting a planning and design project to investigate options for a new library facility.
On September 18th, the Friends will be conducting their regular business and planning for the upcoming booksale, along with taking time to talk with prospective new members.
