EARTH Bash will begin at 4:00 pm with a champagne welcome and a relaxing stroll through Southwick’s Zoo. Jeep tours will also be provided by Imperial Cars. Attendees are also invited to take a free ride on the Skyfari sky ride to get a bird’s eye view of the zoo.
After exploring the zoo, guests will move to the main tent where they will enjoy food, an open bar, auctions, and dancing to some classic tunes. Sobieski is providing vodka and will be sampling mixed drinks such as pumpkin and caramel apple martinis. Guests will also be able to enjoy beer, provided by Samuel Adams, and wine from the Naked Grape. Silent and live auction items this year will include dinners, theater tickets, airline tickets, a Block Island getaway, sports memorabilia, and more.
Tickets are $75.00 per person, and members of EARTH Ltd will receive a special gift bag when they show their membership ID at the event. EARTH Bash is 21+ only, and will be held rain or shine. All proceeds will support the environmental education nonprofit EARTH Ltd. This organization reaches tens of thousands of people each year through a wide variety of programs including ZooMobiles, live presentations at Southwick’s Zoo, Spring and Summer programs for children, and Rhino Encounters. EARTH also trains docents along with local and international interns. EARTH Ltd’s goal is to educate people about environmental issues and help them understand the value in preserving the planet and the animals we share it with.
