With the jet stream over the region, this will result in an active weather through the first half of Columbus Day Weekend. A storm system will move into the region overnight Friday into the day Saturday, bringing clouds and periods of rain with it. The good news is that this storm system will move out of the region fast, as a ridge of high pressure will build in from the west on Sunday. If you have any plans to see foliage, Sunday and Monday look to be the best days to do so.
