Milford’s Pumpkin Stroll

pumkin stroll

Come in costume for Free Trick or Treating and View the Illuminated Jack-o-lanterns.

Mike Shain, Mortgage originator with Village Mortgage Milford, is again working in conjunction with Milford Parks and Recreation Department to plan the 2014 Pumpkin Stroll. Thousands of families who have attended Milford’s Pumpkin Stroll in its past years have had a hauntingly good time.

This year’s Pumpkin Stroll has moved to a new location, Milford Town Park basketball court on Walnut Street.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25th (rain date Sunday the 26th).   All are invited to carve a pumpkin that will be viewed by those joining in the “trick or treating.”

Pumpkin carvers are asked to drop off their creations at the basketball court between the hours of 4:30-5:30 p.m. Three $25.00 gift cards will be awarded for the scariest, funniest and most creative pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded at 7:00 pm. (you must be present to win).  All children are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes to enjoy Trick or Treating at the courts from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Local businesses will be set up tables to hand out treats: don’t forget to bring your Trick or Treat bag!  The creatively carved pumpkins will be illuminated and be displayed

While the entire evening is FREE to attend, a collection box for the Daily Bread Food Pantry  will be set up for anyone who wishes to make a donation of a non-perishable food item.

Milford’s Pumpkin Stroll is brought to you by Milford Parks and Recreation Department, Village Mortgage Milford , Medway Oil and Propane, and WMRC radio 1490   For more information about Milford’s Pumpkin Stroll, please contact Michael Shain 508-330-8487.
