According to New England Incident Alerts at approximately 10:00 p.m. on October 23 several cows were on and in the area Route 290 near Route 495 resulting in a cow vs. motor vehicle accident.
The Telegram and Gazette reports there are no serious injuries to any persons; the cow did not survive the crash.
According to reports there were several cows and horses roaming the area. The animals were from a Northboro farm. No information was available regarding how the animals escaped.
