Julia Giancoloa of Upton is one of 100 finalists in the national CVS Team Mom of the Year contest.
Julia was nominated by several parents on her son’s mighty might Nipmuc Youth Football team for going above and beyond the traditional duties of team mom. Julia promotes a feeling of team unity and pride within the group. She also takes about 300 photos at each game, edits the photos down to 150 or so and then shares them with all the parents and players on the Facebook page she manages for the team.
If Julia makes the top 10 the football program will receive a $1000 equipment credit . Julia said, “We could use it.”
