Wet and cloudy end to the work week, then becoming mostly dry during the weekend

Discussion: An area of low pressure will move over the region today, associated with clouds and return of rain. At the same time, southerly winds will help keep temperatures mild.  High temperatures will be around 50 today. On Friday, there will be a chance of left over showers. At the same time, an ephermal cool air mass will  move into the region late in the day.

The weekend is looking mostly dry, with a slight chance of rain late on Saturday into the first part of Sunday as weak disturbance will move through the region.
