A clipper system will strengthen off the coast of New England later tonight into tomorrow morning. As it does so, enough cold air will be move into the area and transition the rain-snow mix late this evening over to snow during the overnight into tomorrow morning. The good news is that this system will move out of the area by mid morning, allowing for breaks of sun by late morning to mid day.
Advisories: The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 12 A.M. Tonight to 9 A.M Tomorrow morning, for combination of wet snow falling and low visibility from the snow through the morning commute.
Snowfall prediction: Coating to 2 inches
Impacts: With air temperatures projected to be at or slightly below freezing and roadways being relatively warm, this should help to keep roadways mainly wet. However, some secondary and dirt roads could be snow covered. Also, be careful for some patches of black ice and low visibility from the snow falling.
