Prior to meeting on the gridiron for their annual Thanksgiving football game, captains from Blackstone Valley Tech and Nipmuc Regional High School met for a friendly lunch in the BVT Three Seasons Restaurant. Valley Tech captains Mike Salerno of Douglas, Ben Reiffarth of Mendon, Jake Tancrede of Upton, and Andrew Carroll of Douglas put on their best “game face” and joined Nipmuc captains Connor Van Kleeck, Dom Mespelli, and Richie Schiloski alongside the Battle on Pleasant Street trophy. I am now getting news this game is moved to BELLINGHAM!! – updated at 2:40 p.m.!

The eighth annual Thanksgiving football game between BVT and Nipmuc is rescheduled to kickoff at noon on  November 30, 2014 at Grafton High School located on 24 Providence Rd (Route 122).

The Thanksgiving game had been rescheduled for today, November 29, due to poor field conditions from the Wednesday storm. The rescheduled game scheduled for today was cancelled early Saturday morning due to icy and unsafe conditions.

Parents, students, and administration are thankful Grafton is allowing the schools to use their field for the battle of the Pleasant Street Trophy this Sunday.

At this time no ticket price information was available. Tickets were originally priced at $3.00 for students/senior citizens and $5.00 for adults for the Thanksgiving event.
