The Trees for Hope Committee is asking members of the community and businesses to donate a decorated, artificial Christmas tree for a worthy cause – themed in memory of a loved one, in honor of a cancer survivor or for any other thoughtful reason. Do you belong to a club or organization that can join together and decorate a tree? Do you own a business and would like to donate a tree to gain exposure for your company? Full size or table top trees – tall or small we take them all!
The Trees for Hope Festival will be held at St. Gabriel’s Parish in Upton on Saturday, December 6 (9am-7pm) & Sunday, December 7 (9am-1pm). The trees will be on display for viewing by the public both days and then raffled off on the afternoon of Dec 7.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Oliva Fund for Cancer Care at Milford Regional Medical Center. The Oliva Fund for Cancer Care supports local patients and their families with cancer support groups, reflexology services in the Cancer Center, everyday living expenses of cancer patients, transportation, counseling, and more.
