The warm mild air mass over the region will not last much longer, as a cold front will move through the region. This front will be associated with clouds and a slight chance of rain showers, mainly this afternoon. Cooler weather will return for a short time on Tuesday, before a disturbance moves in from the south starting during the afternoon. With cold air in place, there may be a chance of snow showers during the evening, before changing over to a wintry mix and eventually rain on Wednesday. Little to no snow accumulation is expected at this time.
The mild weather will not last long, as another cold front will move through the region later in the day Wednesday. Behind this cold front ,a ridge of high pressure will build over the region. This will support for a cold air mass to remain over the region on Thursday and Friday.
