Representative George Peterson presented the Upton Fire Department with a Citation in recognition of the department’s 175 years of “committed, brave, and selfless volunteer service to the Town of Upton,” during the November 17, 2014 Selectmen meeting.
Peterson said, “It is a worthy and ultimate volunteer service considering that we as individuals run out of the house where they run in to save property ans lives.”
The Massachusetts House of Representatives offered their sincerest congratulations to the Upton Fire Department and extended their very best wishes and expresses of hope of future good fortune and success.
