Don’t Text and Drive – Distracted Driving Kills

krissyandbob1

This is my future sister-in-law Krissy with her Dad, Bob. Isn’t this a great photo?

This photo makes me smile and cry at the same time.  As I look at the photo I can feel the love they share.  I see a daughter who loves and admires her Dad and a Dad who loves his family. The tears come from knowing how much Krissy misses her Dad.

On December 12, 2011 Krissy’s life was changed forever when her Dad was killed by a “distracted” driver.  While driving home from work his life was stolen from him when a 20 year old crossed the yellow line and crashed into his car head on.  What was so important at that moment to that driver?

What you do behind the wheel matters and distracted driving kills.

Upton Daily publishes this every year around the anniversary of Bob’s death as a public service to remind all of the consequences of  distracted driving.
