Pre-Season Instructional BASEBALL clinic for kids 5-7 years old

micksubmitted by Sean Menchin

A fun and energetic youth baseball clinic (going on its 9 year!) teaches young baseball players how to play the game like the big boys (and girls). Each session includes one practice and one game per week for four weeks – totaling in eight training opportunities for players.

Practices focus on the very basics of baseball such as fielding ground balls, catching fly balls, hitting and more. Coaches encourage players to participate with proper mechanics and help each player build self-confidence. The use of tees are minimal and may only be used during practices to help teach players hand-eye coordination – also to build self-confidence.

The ultimate goal of this program is to improve each player’s knowledge of the game and prepare them for the Tee Ball/Instructional ball season. Through repetition and routine via practices and games, players will have the opportunity to develop and improve their skills.

Set your child up for a successful and fun first year of baseball!
