Upton Permanent Firefighters Local 3338A through Lt. Bonnie Lopez has set up a Go Fund Me account for Upton Fire Lt. Shaun Marchand.
According to the Go Fund Me page, last week Shaun was fighting the flu which turned into pneumonia requiring hospitalization. Due to complications of pneumonia Shaun was sedated and intubated and recently moved to the ICU at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Shaun will likely require long term care to assist in his full recovery and the Upton Permanent Firefighters Local 3338A is looking for donations to assist him and his family during the lengthy recovery period.
Shaun has been a career member at the Upton Fire Department for over 7 years.

He will pull through. I watched my friend John LeBrun go through this last year. He was 77 years old and was medically compromised to begin with. Shaun is a young man. He is strong. He will pull through. Keep praying.
