Many of you asked this question yesterday wondering if Upton’s trash pick up would delayed a day. Upton Daily reached out to town officials late last night and was advised this morning at 9:15 that trash was being collected today as usual; no delay in schedule. But it appears that didn’t happen.
The Upton Police Department put out a message at 3 p.m. this afternoon on behalf of the Board of Health stating, “Please be advised the Town has just been notified by our trash pick up service that today’s (Tuesday 2/3) trash pick up will collected tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, February 4th, along with the regular Wednesday trash pick up.”
WEDNESDAY 2/4 – regular trash route and all uncollected trash from Tuesday will be picked up.
UPTON DAILY 
There should be another way to get out the information to everyone about when the trash will be collected. When delays happen or other small issues, it can be really hard to find out what day they are going to come around. This happens every Christmas so we just make sure that all of the garbage is out by the curb in advance.
