Snowdiculous strikes again…
Mendon Upton Schools will close on Monday, Feb. 9 for the fifth time this school year as heavy snow moves into the area. Meteorologist Jeb Postle has predicted the area will see over a foot of snow between now and Monday evening.
Parents are wondering if the district is considering making up snow days during April vacation. In response to the question asked of him on twitter, Superintendent Joseph Maruszczak said State law says schools can’t go past June 30. The district’s last day is June 22 calculating in tomorrows snow day. He tweeted, “…..We’ll be okay, probably won’t have to cancel April.”
