Lauren Neilan, of Mendon, MA, a member of the class of 2015, has been named to Assumption College’s Dean’s List, one of the school’s highest academic honors. To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester.

The following local residents were among 1,082 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the fall 2014 semester. The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean’s List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
