The Town of Upton has announced garden plots are available for the 2105 growing season.
Each plot is a 4’ by 16’ raised bed for growing organic vegetables, flowers and herbs. Plots are available free of charge to Upton residents and Upton based community groups.
The Town does make available an elevated bed for gardeners who may have difficulty accessing the standard height beds.
While the plots are made available at no cost, gardeners are expected to contribute approximately 2 hours to help with the maintenance and management of the garden.
To sign up for the 2015 season send a note to: UptonLandStewardship@charter.net by April 15th.
Available plots will be assigned by lottery with a number of plots reserved for disabled individuals, seniors, and community groups. Please indicate if you fit into one of these categories when emailing the Upton Lands Stewardship.
