Editor’s Note of Clarification on Comments Made Today

Hi Upton Daily Readers,

Please note the exchange between jenny2163x and Mike Watson in the post today Witness statements say folder was slid or tossed across the table regarding Mendon man’s allegation of assault was not an exchange between Watson and myself.

In reading the exchange the reader may believe jenny2163x was me, Jennifer Doyle.. we both have the name Jennifer and Jenny is a common nickname for Jennifer. It wouldn’t be a huge leap to think it may be me, but it wasn’t.

I have commented using my real name.

jenny2163x is a Upton Daily reader.

I did not want anyone to think that the editor of Upton Daily would get into an exchange or argument with a reader. My feeling is .. comments are for the readers, I am the writer.
