The Upton VFW has begun preparations for the Annual Heritage Day 5K Run To Remember on October 3rd. It is a walk/run event that Honors Veterans by participants wearing the name or names of their choice. Many participants in the past arrive with their name(s) chosen. Those who have no specific person in mind may chose from several the VFW will have available in advance. The Post is also proud to sponsor Rachel Cronin of Hopkinton for the VFW Scout of the Year Scholarship and will be presenting her qualifications at the next Massachusetts District 8 VFW Meeting later this month
Plans and dates are also set aside for a Carnival on May 14th to the 17th on the Post ground.
Monthly Flea Market and Craft Sales on the second Saturday of each month beginning April 11th; and weekly Cruise Nights on Tuesday evenings beginning on May 19th.
