Have you voted in the annual town election yet today?

Today is Upton’s annual town election. Polls are opened until 8 p.m. at Nipmuc Regional High School.

Frank Aniello is challenging incumbent Bob Fleming for the selectman seat.

Patricia (Tricia) Howel decided to throw her name in mix  and is challenging Kenneth Glowacki for the Treasurer Collector seat as a write-in candidate.

Dorothy Scally has announced she is running as a write-in candidate for the one year school committee seat.

The annual town meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 7th and the ballot vote for the override will take place on May 18 if voters so decide.
