Brush fire in Mendon has Providence Road Closed

***updated 4:50 word from Mendon residents – Providence Street is now open***

This is an unofficial post meant to advise Mendon residents they may have trouble getting home.

Mendon Fire Department is currently working on containing a brush fire in the area of Providence Road, residents are reporting Providence Road is closed from Cemetery Road to King Phillip.  Another resident reported Bellingham Road was closed.

Upton Daily has confirmed that Upton has sent their Engine One over to Mendon for Station Coverage.
