Becki Maki of Hopedale will be walking from dust to dawn on June 27 as part of Team Conrad in an effort to raise awareness and funding for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Team Conrad will also be hosting a Wine Tasting/Auction at the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club, 88 Fiske Mill Road, Upton, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 6th at 6 PM. Food and drinks will be served along with music. Tickets are $20.00 per adult 21 years of age and older.
Last July, Becki tragically lost her 18 year old nephew, Conrad. “This year has been incredibly difficult for our family. I am passionate for raising funds for this cause as I feel if he had received the help he needed his death may have been avoided and we would still have that smiling face in our lives.”
All monies raised will help provide research, education, programs, advocacy, awareness, and support to individuals (especially those with mood disorders) and families in the community.
