Upton’s First Annual Agricultural Day Saturday on May 30 at the Upton Grange Hall

Upton’s First Annual Agricultural Day will be held this Saturday on May 30, 2015 at the Upton Grange Hall at 26 School St. (next to the Police station). There will be a Plant Swap & Sale outside between 9am to 2pm. Inside the Grange Hall we will have Free Workshops every hour starting with“Backyard Beekeeping” by Lisa Henry at 9:00 am. At 10:00 am Gary Neves will talk on “Gardening with Bio-Nutrients” and at 11:00 am Tully Milk Farm, a Cabot Dairy Supplier, will put on a “Cheese and Butter Making Demonstration”. At noon time there will lots of fun for all especially children, because we will have Fun Crafts, a Farm Drawing and Coloring Contest, and light refreshments will be served. Everyone will want to stay till 1:00 pm for Karla Barrows and her 4-H Program because she will have some surprising animal guests including a Pony! There will be a 50-50 Raffle to benefit the Grange Building Restoration Fund. This event is Sponsored by the Massachusetts State Grange.
