Giant Tanks roll through Upton Center

The giant propane tanks rolled through Upton Center at approximately 6 p.m. tonight (tues 6/16) and stopped at the Upton rail-yard. The tanks being moved to the Grafton Upton Railroad Propane Transfer Facility located in North Grafton.

    Via my high school friend Jennifer Doyle at Upton Daily, a look at the Grafton & Upton Railroad propane tanks, which had been stuck in downtown Milford because they were too large to make a turn, as they roll through Upton. The two tanks will later be joined by two others as part of the railroad’s controversial plan to open a propane transfer facility in North Grafton.
