Representative Muradian seeking interns for State House office for the 2015 summer semester

davidBOSTON – Representative David K. Muradian, Jr. (R-Grafton) is pleased to encourage college students in the 9th Worcester District to apply for an unpaid internship at his office in the State House in Boston.

Candidates must be of college age and preferably a political science major or another related field although all candidates will be equally considered. Responsibilities will include answering phones, helping to draft correspondence and tracking legislation so potential candidates should be organized and professional. Candidates must also be available to travel to the State House in Boston at least 3 days a week between 9 and 5.

“I am very excited to be able to offer college students in the 9th Worcester District the possibility to see how the legislative process works from the ground floor,” said Rep. Muradian. “This is a great opportunity for any students in the district interested in the workings of state government.”
