The community is reaching out to assist six Northbridge Families, 21 people in all, who were displaced after a 4 alarm fire broke out in the multifamily home located on D Street.
Three Northbridge Fire Fighters required medical treatment as a result of the fire; one firefighter was treated for a shoulder injury and the others with high blood pressure. No other injuries were reported.
There is, however, massive personal property losses, some families lost every item they owned.
Gofundme acounts have been set up for two of the families to help them get back on their feet.
Nancy Fluery is collecting needed items for the Bolton Family; clothes, linens, household items, etc. This family lost everything. A gofundme account has been set up to help the Bolton family if you are interested in donating you can visit http://www.gofundme.com/ymbk76x.
Clothing sizes for the Bolton family are women’s 6/7, men’s extra large, girl’s size 16, girl’s size 7, and boy’s 12-18 months. Items can be dropped off at the Criterion Office, 68 Church St. in Whitinsville – 508-234-1332.
Katie Leclerc has set up a gofundme account for the Fryer/Dugas family. Gil, Denise, their 4 daughters and 2 grandchildren lost everything and do not know where to go from here. West End Creamery is accepting non-monitary donations at The Creamery for the families affected by the fire on D Street in Whitinsville. West End Creamery is located at 481 Purgatory Rd, Whitinsville.
Fire companies from Uxbridge, Sutton, Auburn, Leicester, Spencer, Mendon, Upton, Southbridge and Douglas assisted Northbridge Fire.
