Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect for Upton Area until 11:00 p.m. – Sunday July 19, 2015

The highest risk for severe weather is across much of western and north central Massachusetts, mainly between 4 pm and midnight. However, much of southern New England has the potential for severe weather as well. There is uncertainty as to whether or not we see isolated storms, or a more organized complex of storms develop.
The main hazards are damaging wind gusts, torrential rainfall, frequent lightning, and perhaps large hail.
Keep an eye to the sky this afternoon if you have outdoor plans. When Thunder Roars, Go Indoors!
