UPTON – Muriel M. (Cote) Brochu, 79, of Upton, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Beaumont Nursing Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Bernard Brochu, who died in 1991.Mrs. Brochu was born in Upton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Page) Cote and lived here most of her life. She worked at Fenwal in Ashland for many years and was a communicant of the former Holy Angels Parish.
She leaves four children, Kellie St. Onge of Mendon, Bernard Brochu, Jr. of Upton, Mark Brochu of Uxbridge, and Hollie Brochu of Upton; a sister, Doris Benoit of Florida; and 8 grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Wilfred and Arthur Cote, Jeanette Brozeau, and Lillian Benoit.
Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton, with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon St., Upton. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
