The Nipmuc High School Cheerleaders are holding a car wash today, August 22, at the VFW in Upton from 10 a.m. to noon.
The Nipmuc Gridiron Club has posted there is a helmet drive in Mendon from 9 a.m. to noon – No additional details. My guess is the football team will be at Route 16/North Street in Mendon collecting donations to support the team.
Big news is the football team will now be playing home games at Nipmuc in Upton on the front field. Former students probably referred to the field as Leaver’s soccer field. With Leaver (the former Nipmuc Athletic Director) gone football has been approved to be played at Nipmuc… HURRAY. The Nipmuc Gridiron Club has been raising funds and will be installing a score board. This is great news for Nipmuc High School!
Sorry for the late notice and lack of details. I have been spending a lot of time at the beach with my kiddos this summer as I prepare to send my eldest to University! I am way behind on local news….
