Join one of the region’s top-rated, dog-friendly 5Ks on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in support of Baypath Humane Society. First-time runners and athletes alike enjoy this fun run/walk through Hopkinton State Park at peak foliage season.
You can choose to walk solo, as a team, or with your favorite four-legged friend. It easy to fundraise for the event by creating a Crowdrise page when you register. Every dollar raised helps Baypath Humane provide shelter, care, and loving homes for stray and unwanted companion animals.
This beautiful USATF-certified course is a great way to connect with fellow animal lovers. Bring the little ones to cheer you on and enjoy kid’s activities, including face painting and games. Stick around after the race to meet Baypath alum and enjoy healthy snacks.
“We look forward to the Paws & Claws 5K every year,” said Executive Director Elizabeth Jefferis. “We love reconnecting with adopters and seeing Baypath alum show off their athletic skills! The 5K is an important fundraiser for us. Last year’s 5K raised more than $22,000 for animals in need, and we hope this year’s event will also be a great success.”
“Baypath is near and dear to my heart,” said longtime volunteer and top 2014 fundraiser Kathleen Kenneally. “They’ve improved the lives of so many animals. I’ve seen hundreds of successful forever home stories and made great friends along the way.”
