Wanted – Seasonal Snow Plow Drivers

The town of Upton is seeking applicants for Seasonal Snow Plow Drivers for the Department of Public Works.    Drivers will be responsible for operating Town‐owned equipment during the winter months to plow snow and apply road salt and de‐icing materials.  The Town is seeking drivers who either possess a valid CDL‐B License to operate large vehicles that require this license, and/or drivers with a Massachusetts Class D operator’s license to operate non‐CDL‐B vehicles.   The work is to be performed on an on call basis depending on the needs of the Town.    The Town requires applicants to possess a H. S.  Diploma, have experience plowing snow and winter operations with CDL type equipment, and a driving history satisfactory to the Town; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.  On Call ‐ $18.00/hour for Class D license Drivers, $20.00/CDL‐B Drivers.    Visit http://www.uptonma.gov (“Employment Opportunities”).   Applications due to: shakala@uptonma.gov or 1 Main St., Box 1, Upton, MA  01568, open until filled
